This course open is only to candidates that have completed and passed Compressed Air Systems' Testing and Examinations.The purpose of the course is to recertify those candidates.
This course will refresh the candidate with knowledge of the Pressure Systems Safety Regulations (S.I. 2000 No 128) and related standards and demonstrating practical skills in the testing of relevant safety related devices contributing to knowledge and skills required as a Competent Examiner. Refresher for the Competent examiner re-certification required every 5 years. If your certification has lapsed please contact us Training@bcas.org.uk

Further information
This course is required every five years to ensure the Compressed Air Systems’ Testing and Examinations certificate remains a valid qulaification – lapsed certificates will not be recognised
Entry onto this course is dependant on a valid certificate of Compressed Air Systems’ Testing and Examinations
This course does NOT enable the successful candidate to CERTIFY written schemes, it only contributes towards them examining against a written scheme
Detailed course materials from the initial course should have been retained as for your five-year recertification – a new course folder can be purchased if required
