How the course works!

The qualification is built up of certificates from approved providers and can encompass certificates the engineer already has in place – the aim is to regularly refresh essential health and safety qualification for our compressed air engineer community. Therefore, we fully expect each quotation for this course to be bespoke as we will build the learning path for you only covering those qualifications that you have not already refreshed in the last five years. The course is only available to those who have completed the full Compressed Air Engineer Health and Safety Training course – for dull details please click this link to view details

Courses modules included

Accident reporting Manual handling Slips trips & falls Noise awareness
Electrical safety Fire safety Asbestos awareness Confined spaces
Environmental training Lone worker

Once the engineer has presented certificates for their qualifications BCAS will check the training providers are on our approved supplier list. We can advise the remaining qualifications required and subsequent course cost.

Sounds complicated – we recognise that many of our members have this in hand and therefore duplicating training would be of no benefit.

However a certificate for the health and safety requirements of the industry would be a valuable asset for employers and their customers alike
