This optional unit is about conducting maintenance activities on compressed air systems and equipment. You will be required to maintain a range of compressed air equipment to include compressed air generation, distribution, and control systems. For further details please read the unit 38 description contained within the Experienced Worker handbook.
The knowledge questions will need to be downloaded and completed, then upload your draft document to your allocated OneDrive location.
Your performance will be demonstrated through the Job pack contained within these optional units. A job pack is a process to follow from allocation of work, through to reflection on how the job could have been improved after it was completed. Whilst completing the maintenance role, please take photographs or a video of what you are doing. Use the job pack to describe the actions you are undertaking in the photograph.
